April Update

I know this is supposed to be a "travel blog", but I've been pretty much unemployed since I got back from my trip, although I am going into Theatreworks about 2 days a week, and I though I should write a little something.

On the travel front, I did take a Friday-Monday trip to Los Angeles to see my boyfriend, which was amazing. I got the chance to meet a number of his friends, eat some great food and spend some quality time with the one I love, so it was a fantastic trip all in all! Just seeing him made me feel better and better about our long-distance relationship- we just needed a jump start in my opinion.

Secondly on the travel front, I went to Rockville, MD to see Jenny and Mike this weekend, which was also fantastic. We went to the Great Grapes Wine Festival in Reston, VA and met up with some other friends and it was the most beautiful outdoor day ever! Glass in hand, we strolled around, tasting, drinking, gabbing, laughing and eating a crab pretzel (delicious!). Then we went back to a townhouse and grilled. It was awesome and relaxing and I bought way more wine than I should have. Jenny was out for the count around 6pm. Good times.

I have a few jobs out there that I am hoping may bite, so cross your fingers and let's hope I hear something soon. Looking forwad to dog sitting for Milo, Sammi & Rhett's pug tomorrow in Brooklyn, then I have an away concert in Lancaster, PA on Saturday and Bamboozle on Sunday. Good times ahead :)
