coming home to Maryland is relaxing and it will always be home, but it's not. I don't sleep in my old room because I don't like the bed that's in there, so I sleep in the guest bedroom across the hall... and wake up with back pains due to the mattress. when I travel home, I don't bring pajamas or toiletries because I have them all here. saves me room in my suitcase. but it always seems that I have things to do, even when I don't, in New York, and when I am in Maryland, I don't. it's not necessarily a bad thing, just different.
after Thanksgiving at Jenny's house, which included some glasses of wine, a few games of tennis on the wii, and dinner/dessert, I bailed home due to a headache. a small nap and a phone call later, I started to watch grey's anatomy but couldn't finish. my headache and nausea had gotten the best of me. and I still don't know why I was feeling so bad and it's continued through today. hence the tbs marathon.
don't know where this post was going, but I'm about done with it now.
thanks for all the love this past year. I am truely grateful for all of my friends.
happy post-turkey day.
