dear Allah...
ok, I realize it is the rainy season and all, but if you could please stop this spur-of-the-moment downpour that just started as I am editing my blogs, that would be great.
(Sari's mom is afraid they are going to send me home a convert to Islam, as I wake up every morning at 4:15am and again at 6:30am to the prayer calls from the local mosque. it's a great alarm clock, although there is no reason I should be aroused at that time in the morning while on sabbatical. ever. I even tried to record the calls using the video portion of my camera this morning. it's faint, but extremely distinctive)
anywho- I am asking this because the last two days it rained horribly last week, the road to the airport was closed. one day the airport itself was closed. our plan already was to have Sari's mom drop me off at the bus station in the morning, so that I can take an airport shuttle.
please, please, please, PLEASE STOP RAINING!
