Jakarta: Underwater

Sari came home from work early yesterday b/c she was feeling sick and so we stayed in after all. no dinner, no concert. about 11:20pm I was woken up by a ferocious thunder/lighting storm that scared me so much that I contemplated going downstairs to Sari's room for the night. and it kept raining! it's now 3:35pm and it's just starting to let up. I cancelled my tour because Mini Indonesia wouldn't have been fun in the rain and sick Sari (chills and all) stayed home from work. I had planned on going to the Amex bank and a mall to get the 6th Harry Potter book, but all the cab companies were booked and my sick roommate couldn't drive me. so it looks like I am gonna have to use my Visa or borrow some cash till Monday. Iman & Ivi, Sari's parent's came over and brought their sick daughters (yes, including me as my stomach has been acting up since last night) some soup and medicine. all parents are the same worldwide :)

tomorrow morning, hopefully the four of us will travel to Bandung for Sari's cousin's wedding and Ivi has been explaining to me how to greet certain people at the wedding. I'm starting to understand her more and more everyday! finishing up a horrendous movie on the Hallmark Channel, but perhaps Sari and I will watch her bootleg Hairspray dvd this afternoon.

gotta get a new calling card also, as my convo with MP was cut short midsentence this morning :(
I probably don't be posting till my Monday morning, hopefully with pics of the weekend wedding. have a great weekend everyone!
